Bicclescombe Grange is a large holiday cottage on the outskirts of Ilfracombe, a lovely seaside town on the beautiful North Devon coast. Set at the end of a private drive and within four acres of wonderful gardens, with large lawns, ponds, waterfalls and our extremely popular alpaca enclosure. You can even join in at feeding time if you'd like!
Inside the house there is plenty of space for everybody and much to do. Primarily of course and the main reason most of our guests come is the huge and fantastic indoor heated swimming pool. It's 40 feet long by 20 feet wide and 7 feet at its deepest. And if you get tired of all that splashing you can always take a break and chill out in the hot tub!
Elsewhere we have a full size snooker table, a table tennis table, dart board, piano and lots of toys and games for young and old alike.
The kitchen has been custom designed for a large group to really make the most of, with its marble floors, oak furniture and stainless steel appliances. There is a large cooking area for several chefs to use at once and plenty of large granite surfaces to work with. And there's even a low level seating area where the kids can be kept busy, or for someone to sit and watch the chefs, with a glass of wine perhaps!
We've got a large 60" TV with Sky Q in the lounge if you were looking forward to the big game, or a great movie. And there's a hi-fi and several wi-fi speakers to play all your favourite music.
A lot of our guests are happy to just chill out in the house, but if you do venture further afield there's plenty to do. Ilfracombe is filled with a huge variety of tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and bars. Fish and chips is always an excellent choice here, or how about an ice cream and a stroll along the front?
There are also a couple of small beaches, including the famous Victorian Tunnels Beaches. Or, only a ten minute drive will bring you to a choice of several glorious sandy beaches, with world class surfing and many other watersport activities. Or you could just soak up the sun! Have a look at our
